Heavenly Spaghetti
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- 1/3 c. chopped scallions, green or regular onions
- 1 Tbsp. minced green pepper
- Cook spaghetti; drain.
- Saute beef until brown.
- Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper; remove from heat.
- Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, onions and green pepper in mixing bowl. Butter a 2-quart casserole.
- Spread half the spaghetti on bottom; cover with all of cheese mixture.
- Add remaining spaghetti. Spread tomato meat sauce on top.
- Cover; keep in refrigerator until 20 minutes before baking.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes. Garnish with cheese slices, if desired.
