Bhajia waffles
- 1 cup chana (gram) flour
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 potato grated
- 1 onion grated or chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce. spinach. corn. mint etc.
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 chopped cilantro and spring onions
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and cumin powder
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Mix all ingredients together to form a smooth thick batter.
- add little water if needed.
- Heat waffle grid n brush with oil..
- Drop spoonfuls of batter n cook till lightly browned..
- Enjoy with green chillies chutney or hot sauce..
- Alternative.
- Heat oil in pot n drop spoonfuls in hot deep oil.. Fry till golden brown..
- Drain on paper towel..
