Woody'S Fresh Tomato Salsa
- 64 oz. diced or crushed tomatoes
- 32 oz. tomato paste
- 3 mug c. onions, chopped *
- 3 mug c. green bell pepper, chopped (medium-sized) *
- 2 mug c. red bell pepper, chopped (medium-sized) *
- 2 mug c. yellow bell pepper, chopped (medium-sized) *
- 1 1/2 oz. jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 1 oz. fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. cumin powder
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 oz. lime juice
- 6 oz. hot sauce (use your favorite brand)
- 1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
- 1 c. water
- 1 bag nacho chips
- 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 can Hormel chili (with no beans)
- 1/4 c. chopped green onions
- 1/2 c. sliced black olives
- 1 lb. grated hot pepper cheese
- This recipe is prepared in layers in a 9-inch pie plate as follows:
