Fourth of July Cornish Hens
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 12 teaspoons salad dressing, italian
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 1 each black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme crushed
- 4 each cornish game hens thawed, giblets removed
- Cut the birds lengthwise.
- Cook on outside grill bone side down 10 minutes, flesh side down 5 minutes, alternating 10 minutes and 5 minutes in this manner for 1 hour and basting with marinade frequently (at least every 5 minutes) while cooking.
