Waffles with Frizzled Ham and Maple-Mustard Cream

  1. Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ham; saute until ham is heated through and ends are curled, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in cream, syrup, and mustard.
  4. Simmer until sauce is slightly thickened and coats ham, about 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in 1/3 cup onions.
  6. Top toasted waffles with ham mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining onions.
