Rocky Road Dessert Pie

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease and dust a 9 x 1 1/4-inch pie plate.
  3. Can also use a 12 x 12-inch cake tin or small rectangular cake tin.
  4. Reserve 1 2/3 cups lightly packed cake mix (dry).
  5. Beat remaining cake mix, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl on low speed, scraping bowl often, for 30 seconds.
  6. Beat on medium, scraping bowl frequently 2 minutes.
  7. Spread in pie plate.
  8. Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center, 30 to 35 minutes.
  9. Cool completely.
