Creamy Penne with Sausage
- 1 pound Penne, Or Other Pasta
- 1 whole Small Onion, Diced
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
- 4 whole Links Italian Turkey Sausage
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Rosemary, Chopped
- 2 whole Bay Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 can 14.5 Oz Diced Italian Tomatoes
- 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Cook pasta according to the package directions.
- Saute the onion in the olive oil over medium heat until soft.
- Add the sausage.
- Brown for a few minutes.
- Add rosemary, bay leaves, and crushed red pepper.
- Add the tomatoes.
- Cook until bubbly and hot.
- Then add the cooked pasta, cream and cheese to the tomatoes.
- Toss until well combined.
- Serve with additional cheese if desired.
