Baked Cavatelli

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  3. Make sauce.
  4. Melt butter in saucepan; remove from heat.
  5. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
  6. Gradually stir in milk.
  7. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
  9. Remove from heat; add Parmesan cheese and cavatelli.
  10. Make cheese layer.
  11. In bowl combine remaining ingredients in bottom of a 2-quart baking dish.
  12. Spoon 1/2 cavatelli mixture.
  13. Layer with cheese mixture.
  14. Spoon remaining cavatelli.
  15. Arrange Mozzarella cheese on top.
  16. Sprinkle with paprika.
  17. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
