fish in coconut gravy
- 1 tilapia fish
- 1 large grated onion
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli paste
- 1 tsp tumeric powder
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 coriader leaves
- 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
- 1 salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- Clean fish, make lines on fish.marinate with little salt, a half lemon and 1 table spoon oil.grill the fish on coal griller till well done.
- On a pan add coconut milk and ol other ingredients except coriander.cook on low heat stirring continuously till thick.put off flame and keep on strring till cooled.
- Heat a flat pan, but jst low heat.put quarter of the gravy on top keep the fish.add another quarter of gravy ontop of fish.turn the fish the other side.keep on adding gravy n turning fish on both sides till u finish the gravy.
- Put fish on serving plate garnish with coriader and slices of lemon
