Range Top Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 envelopes spaghetti mix
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella
- Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain.
- Place ground beef in Dutch oven and sprinkle with 1 package spaghetti mix; spread half cottage cheese over meat.
- Break noodles in half lengthwise; layer over cottage cheese.
- Sprinkle with other package of spaghetti mix, Italian seasoning, parsley and salt.
- Pour tomatoes, tomato sauce and water over mixture.
- Cover and simmer over low heat for 35 minutes or until noodles are tender. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella over top.
- Cover and turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Serves 6.
