Strawberry Crunch Salad

  1. Combine pretzel pieces, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar. Spread in 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
  2. Bake at 400u0b0 for seven (7) minutes.
  3. Remove and allow to cool thoroughly.
  4. Blend softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar thoroughly.
  5. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread evenly over first layer.
  7. Dissolve gelatin in hot water; allow to cool to room temperature.
  8. Add strawberries. Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer.
  9. Chill until firm.
