Nitamago (Flavored Boiled Egg)

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a pot.
  2. Put the eggs in the boiling water carefully with a spoon so that they won't break.
  3. Lower the heat, but still keep boiling for 6:30 to 7 minutes.
  4. Quickly drain water and put them in iced water (It makes it easier to peel).
  5. Then peel.
  6. Mix the ingredients for the marinade in a ziploc bag.
  7. Put eggs into it and squeeze out the air and seal up a bag.
  8. Soak for half day to overnight.
