Pumpkin Cake

  1. Set aside 1 cup of dry cake mix.
  2. Beat 1 egg.
  3. Add 1/2 cup melted butter.
  4. Mix into rest of dry cake mix.
  5. Press into bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. In another bowl, beat 3 eggs.
  7. Add milk, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and pumpkin pie filling.
  8. Mix together and pour over cake.
  9. Mix 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons melted butter and nuts with 1 cup of dry cake mix.
  10. Sprinkle over filling.
  11. Bake 10 minutes at 400u0b0. Reduce heat to 350u0b0 and bake 35 minutes.
  12. Insert knife to test doneness.
