Meat Lovers Olive Pimiento Loaf
- 2 lb. ground round steak
- 1 lb. lean ground pork
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 or 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. chopped pimientos
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 c. chopped green olives
- Crumble beef and pork into a large mixing bowl. Add onion, pepper and garlic; mix well. Add remaining ingredients as given and blend. Divide
- mixture in half. Place each half in a 9 x 4 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until brown. Test for doneness in center. Cool in pan. Store airtight, chilled. Makes 2 loaves.
