Delicious Cherry Sauce

  1. In a large pot on medium-high heat, bring cherries, 2/3 cup water and sugar to boil.
  2. Boil for two minutes, lower heat to medium.
  3. In a small bowl mix cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water until mixed thoroughly leaving no lumps and add to cherries.
  4. Cook several more minutes until thick.
  5. Remove from heat and cool before using.
  6. Use sauce cooled over cheesecake, ice cream or any dessert you wish.
