Billy's Easy Beef Jerky
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon msg
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 18 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon paprika
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or 12 tablespoon Splenda sugar substitute, brown blend
- 12 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 teaspoon chili powder
- 12 teaspoon hamburger seasoning, by grillmates
- 3 teaspoons Emeril's Original Essence
- 1 teaspoon barbecue seasoning
- 18 cup ketchup
- 18 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 18 cup liquid smoke
- Place all dry ingredients into a gallon size storage bag.
- Mix until even.
- Put in wet ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Put in meat.
- Massage until just mixed (if you over mix your texture will not be good).
- Take a tablespoon and level it off and place in hand.
- Roll gently into a round ball and smash it thin, but not too thin.
- Place into a dehydrator at 150 degrees or a oven on a cooling rack at same temperature for 6-7 hours.
