James' Favorite French Bread Pizza

  1. Mix all the sauce ingredients together, allow to sit for 10 minutes and up to over night.
  2. I like it chunky, but you can choose to blend it for a smoother sauce.
  3. Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Top each half with a generous amount of the sauce.
  5. Layer on the toppings; start with pepperoni, then the mozzarella, and finally the vegetables; add other veggies if desired (I enjoy mushrooms).
  6. Dot the top of the pizza with a bit more sauce.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crisp.
