Cinnamon Rolls
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. oleo
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
- 2 large eggs
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. oleo, softened
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. milk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- Combine water, 1/2 cup milk and 1/3 cup oleo in a saucepan over medium heat; cook until oleo melts, stirring occasionally. Let mixture cool to 125u0b0 to 130u0b0.
- Combine 3 cups flour and next 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Gradually add milk mixture to flour mixture, beating at low speed with an electric mixer. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Gradually add 1 additional cup of flour, beating 2 minutes.
- Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
