Asparagus Ham Rolls

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and cook until thick.
  2. Gradually stir in milk and cook until bubbly and thickened.
  3. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Place three asparagus stalks on each ham slice.
  6. Roll up; secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  7. Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; cover with cheese sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with crumbs.
  9. Bake at 375F (190C) F for 20 minutes.
