Beans With Plum Sauce (Lobio Tkemali) Recipe

  1. Soak beans overnight, rinse and drain.
  2. Cook beans with one clove of garlic
  3. (halved), 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, bay leaf, and 2 Tbsp.
  4. vinegar till tender, about 1 hour.
  5. Drain.
  6. While beans are hot, stir in salt, remaining vinegar, one clove of garlic (chopped), jam, cilantro and pepper.
  7. Serve at room temperature.
  8. NOTES : wonderful flavor; very easy
