Sauteed Herbed Shrimp Recipe
- 2 T olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 pd large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 T chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 2 T chopped oregano
- pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 C dry white wine
- Heat oil in a skillet over med.
- heat.
- Add garlic and cook till soft but not browned.
- Add shrimp,herbs, red pepper flakes and stir often.
- Raise heat to medium-high and add wine.
- Continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
