Bite-sized Microwave Brownies
- 55 grams Milk chocolate
- 20 grams Butter
- 30 grams Pancake mix
- 10 grams Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 30 grams Walnuts
- 1 dash Vegetable oil (to grease the pan)
- Crush the walnuts into about 5 mm pieces.
- Place in a heatproof container and microwave at 600 W for 1.5 minutes.
- Grease a microwave-safe petit gateaux mold with oil.
- Drop a walnut into each.
- In a different heatproof container, add the crushed chocolate and butter and microwave for a minute to melt.
- Mix the butter and chocolate with a whisk.
- Add sugar, egg, pancake mix, and cocoa powder.
- Mix well.
- (Adjust the amount of sugar to your liking.)
- Add any remaining walnuts from Step 2 into the batter.
- Using a spoon, pour the chocolate mixture into the mold from a decent height.
- Make sure each mold is about half full.
- If there is any leftover batter, put it into small molds such as cupcake liners.
- Lift the mold from Step 6 and drop it onto your workplace several times to remove any air bubbles and to smoothen out the surface.
- Microwave the molds one by one, for 2 minutes at 600 W. Leave them in the microwave for 2 minutes, then take out.
- Microwave it in 20 second increments if it's done cooked through.
- Because the microwave will be warm when heating the second batch, slightly shorten the heating time.
