Best Chocolate Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease and flour rectangular baking pan 13 x 9 x 2-inch or two 9-inch round layer pans.
  3. Beat all ingredients except frosting in large mixer bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds.
  4. Beat on high speed, scraping occasionally, 3 minutes.
  5. Pour into pan(s).
  6. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, rectangular 40 to 45 minutes, layers 30 to 35 minutes.
  7. Cool; frost with Fudge Frosting.
  8. Makes 14 servings; 420 calories per serving.
