Beef Empanadas Recipe
- 1/2 lb Grnd beef
- 2 x Golden brown raisins
- 1/2 c. Corn, thawed
- 1/8 c. Tomato paste
- 2 x Green salsa
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 x Dry basil
- 1 x Pillsbury Grands Refrigerator, biscuits
- 1 x Egg, beaten
- In large skillet brown grnd beef.
- Stir in raisins, corn, tomato paste and salsa, heat throughly.
- Remove from heat stir in cheese and basil.
- Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Separate dough into 8 biscuits.
- Roll orpress each to a 5 inch circle.
- Place about 1/4 c. meat mix in center of biscuit.
- Mix in half; seal edges and prick with fork.
- Brush with egg.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 13 to 16 min or possibly till golden.
