Beef Empanadas Recipe

  1. In large skillet brown grnd beef.
  2. Stir in raisins, corn, tomato paste and salsa, heat throughly.
  3. Remove from heat stir in cheese and basil.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Preheat oven to 375F.
  6. Separate dough into 8 biscuits.
  7. Roll orpress each to a 5 inch circle.
  8. Place about 1/4 c. meat mix in center of biscuit.
  9. Mix in half; seal edges and prick with fork.
  10. Brush with egg.
  11. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  12. Bake for 13 to 16 min or possibly till golden.
