Taco Pie
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 3 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning
- 3/4 cups Water
- 1 can Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough (8 Ounce Can)
- 16 ounces, weight Sour Cream (optional)
- 1/4 pounds Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
- 1- 1/2 cup Frito Chips, Crushed
- Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium saute pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
- Once its browned, remove excess fat with a spoon.
- Add the taco seasoning and water and stir to combine.
- Heat until it starts to thicken.
- Remove from heat.
- In a 9x13 lightly greased casserole dish press crescent rolls in the bottom.
- Spread meat evenly over the dough.
- If choosing to use sour cream then spread that over the beef.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.
- Finish with crushed up Frito chips (I crush them in a zip-lock bag with a rolling pin).
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
