Saucy Chopped Steak
- 1 lb. ground sirloin
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped onions King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup PHILADELPHIA Original Cooking Creme
- 2 Tbsp. chopped Italian parsley
- Mix meat and pepper; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) oval patties.
- Melt 1 tsp.
- butter in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add patties; cook 5 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Transfer to platter; cover to keep warm.
- Melt remaining butter in same skillet.
- Add mushrooms and onions; cook and stir 3 min.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce; cook and stir 2 min or until onions are crisp-tender.
- Add cooking creme; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Spoon over patties; top with parsley.
