Delicious Simmered Meat and Tofu with Mentsuyu

  1. Stir-fry the shirataki noodles in vegetable oil and a small amount of sesame oil in advance.
  2. Heat vegetable oil and a small amount of sesame oil in a pot, and stir-fry the meat until the colour changes.
  3. Pour in the diluted mentsuyu, and add roughly chopped ingredients.
  4. Cover with a small lid that sits right on top of the food (otoshibuta), and simmer for about 15 ~ 20 minutes over low heat.
  5. Then it's done.
