Delicious Simmered Meat and Tofu with Mentsuyu
- 400 grams Tofu
- 200 grams Pork
- 1 Shirataki (konnyaku noodles)
- 1 Aburaage
- 100 ml Mentsuyu (diluted)
- 200 ml Water
- Stir-fry the shirataki noodles in vegetable oil and a small amount of sesame oil in advance.
- Heat vegetable oil and a small amount of sesame oil in a pot, and stir-fry the meat until the colour changes.
- Pour in the diluted mentsuyu, and add roughly chopped ingredients.
- Cover with a small lid that sits right on top of the food (otoshibuta), and simmer for about 15 ~ 20 minutes over low heat.
- Then it's done.
