Holiday Gift Bread Recipe

  1. Thoroughly blend softened cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla.
  2. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Gradually add in 2 c. of the flour sifted with the baking pwdr.
  4. Combine remaining 1/4 c. flour with cherries and 1/2 c. minced pecans and fold into batter.
  5. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans and sprinkle with 1/2 c. finely minced pecans.
  6. Pour in batter and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 min (about 1 hour for loaf pans).
  7. Cold 5 min before removing from pans.
  8. Glaze and decorate with candied cherries and pecans.
