Bob's Beef Jerky
- 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. accent flavor enhancer, found in spice section of supermarkets/walmart
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground Chinese five spice
- 3 lb. eye of round sliced in 1/8 inch thick across grain
- Blend all ingredients except beef in small bowl.
- Dip each piece of beef in marinade, coating well.
- Place in medium bowl.
- Pour remaining marinade over top of beef.
- Cover and refrigerate over night.
- Place the strips of beef in food dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 8-10 hours.
- Oven method: place on cookie sheets, put oven temperature on 200 degrees with oven door cracked open for about 6 hours
