Turkey Scallop Recipe
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. herb stuffing mix or possibly 4 c. leftover stuffing
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 (.87) Packages turkey gravy mix or possibly 2 c. leftover turkey gravy
- 1 (4 ounce.) can mushroom pcs, liquid removed
- 1 (8 ounce.) can sliced water chestnuts, liquid removed
- 2 c. cooked, cubed turkey
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions, spoon into bottom of 2 qt casserole; reserving 1/2 c. for garnish.
- Heat butter in large skillet; saute/fry celery and onion till tender.
- Prepare gravy mix according to directions, add in with next 4 ingredients to skillet, spoon over stuffing; sprinkle with reserved stuffing.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 min or possibly till heated through.
- Serves 6 to 8.
