Garden Supper Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Mix bread cubes, cheese and 2 tablespoons margarine.
  3. Spread 1/2 the mixture in greased 1-quart casserole; top with vegetables.
  4. Cook and stir onion in 3 tablespoons of butter until onion is tender.
  5. Blend in flour and seasoning.
  6. Cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture is bubbly.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Stir in milk.
  9. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  10. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
  11. Stir in meat.
  12. Pour over vegetables. Arrange tomato slices on top; sprinkle with remaining bread mixture.
  13. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes.
