Apples With Crunchy Topping
- 3 medium apples
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or to taste)
- 34 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup flour
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, softened
- Peel, core and slice apples thinly.
- Spread apples in a greased 8-inch round pan and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Combine oats, sugar, flour and butter.
- Strew mixture evenly over apples.
- Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream or cream.
