Lentil Stew German Style

  1. Dice potatoes and carrots small.
  2. Ad lentils, potatoes and carrots and the bacon or pork belly slices in a large pot, season and boil with 2 cups of broth and 1 cup of water for approximately 1 hour.
  3. Ad the remaining 1 cup ounce by ounce if stew gets too thick over time.
  4. Stew is best re-heated the next day :D if you want it quicker just let stew cool down and re-heat.
  5. Stew should be very thick with little liquid.
