Rice Tamale Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 4 c. cooked rice
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 1 lb. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. grated American cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. corn meal
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Brown hamburger in a skillet and drain fat.
- Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, beef bouillon, chili powder, salt and pepper.
- Place in a 3-quart casserole dish and sprinkle with grated American cheese.
- Combine egg, milk, oil, flour, corn meal, baking powder, sugar and salt until smooth.
- Spread over tamale pie mix.
- Bake at 425u0b0 for 25 minutes.
