JELL-O Popcorn
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 pkg. (85 g) Jell-O Strawberry Jelly Powder
- Heat oven to 300F.
- Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil or parchment.
- Combine popcorn and nuts in large bowl.
- Cook butter and corn syrup in small saucepan on low heat until butter is melted.
- Add sugar and dry jelly powder; cook and stir 2 min.
- until jelly powder is completely dissolved.
- Bring to boil on medium heat; simmer on low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.
- Pour immediately over popcorn mixture; mix lightly.
- Use 2 forks to evenly spread popcorn mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.
- Bake 10 min.
- Cool completely.
- Remove from pan before breaking popcorn mixture into small pieces.
