Beer Batter Shrimp Recipe
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 12 ounce. can beer
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. flour
- Oil
- Combine 1 1/2 c. of flour, beer and salt in a bowl.
- Stir till batter is mixed well.
- Clean shrimp and dip in flour then batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pot till very warm.
- Drop battered shrimp one at a time into warm oil.
- When shrimp start to float and turn golden brown, remove from oil and drain on paper towel.
- Serves four.
