Barbequed Steak Recipe
- 2 c. ketchup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp. mustard
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 pound round steak (1/2" thick)
- Combine all ingredients except steak in a saucepan.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 5 min.
- Keep sauce warm.
- Lb.
- round steak to break connective tissue or possibly get butcher to run through tenderizer at store.
- Cut into serving size portions.
- Place in 9 x 13 inch baking dish and pour sauce over meat.
- Cover tightly and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hrs or possibly till meat is fork tender.
- Serve with rice.
- Makes 8-10 servings.
