Sesame Turkey And Broccoli Stir-Fry
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 pound turkey breast cutlets, cut into 1 inch wide strips
- 2 each garlic cloves chopped
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 6 each scallions, spring or green onions cut up
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, tamari
- 18 teaspoon red pepper flakes hot
- 4 cups lettuce shredded
- In a large nonstick skillet, heat sesame seeds over medium brown.
- Remove seeds from pan to a small bowl and set aside.
- In the same skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add turkey and garlic; cook 2 minutes, or until lightly browned, stirring constantly.
- Add broccoli, green onion, chicken broth, soy sauce, and pepper flakes, if using.
- Cook 3 minutes, or until broccoli is tender-crisp, stirring often.
- Meanwhile, arrange lettuce on a serving platter or divide Top with the turkey mixture, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve immediately
