Veal Roast
- 1 (2 -3 lb) veal roast
- 24 small potatoes
- 1 bunch celery
- 4 -6 medium onions
- 1 (16 ounce) package mushrooms
- 12 cup chicken broth
- 8 slices bacon
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons thyme
- 4 tablespoons black pepper
- 4 tablespoons sage
- 12 cup butter
- I used a roaster for this.
- Preheat roaster to 325.
- Place butter in roaster and place onions, potatoes, celery, mushrooms and bacon - distribute evenly, place veal on top of veggies and bacon.
- After cooking for about 20 - 25 minutes pour chicken broth over the veal and veggies.
- Turn Veal a few times over the course of cooking.
