Chicken Or Turkey Pie

  1. Cook chicken 3 to 3 1/2 hours. When done, set aside to cool. Take meat from bones and cut up in cubes.
  2. Make a medium white sauce.
  3. Melt margarine in skillet over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
  4. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in broth and heavy cream.
  5. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  6. Cook peas and carrots as directions on package.
  7. Put chicken and vegetables in white sauce and mix well. Turn into pastry lined pie pan and bake at 425u0b0 for 45 to 55 minutes or until brown.
