Bour-B-Qued Pork Sandwiches
- 1/2 cups Onion, finely chopped
- 2- 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 whole Pork Tenderloin (weight Varies)
- 1/2 cups Ketchup
- 1/4 cups Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cups Bourbon (Jack Daniel's Whiskey)
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Dry Ground Mustard
- In a covered saucepan, saute onion in butter for 5 minutes.
- Slice pork tenderloin into 1 inch slices.
- Add slices to saucepan, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Combine remaining ingredients and add to the saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until the pork is very tender.
- Stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and break up the pork pieces into small shreds using 2 forks.
- Stir to combine sauce and shredded pork.
- Serve warm on buns.
