Rolly-Polly Teriyaki Pork and Cheese Rolls
- 200 grams Thinly sliced pork loins
- 3 slice Melting sliced cheese
- 1 dash Salt, pepper
- 1 Plain flour
- 2 tsp Sake (for steaming)
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- Spread out the meat, roll up so that the cheese doesn't come out of the sides, lightly season with salt and pepper, and coat all over with flour.
- Mix the teriyaki sauce together.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, place the meat rolls from step 1 with the overlap facing down, and cook until it becomes a light golden brown color on both sides.
- Add sake, cover with a lid, and steam cook.
- Add teriyaki sauce after cooking until golden brown all over, and bring to a boil.
- Coat the rolls in teriyaki sauce until they're glazed, while shaking the pan back and forth, and it is done.
