Turkey Broccoli Pie Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. cooked turkey, diced
- 10 ounce. frzn broccoli
- 1 1/2 c. (6 ounce.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. skim lowfat milk
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/3 c. whole wheat flour (or possibly enriched flour)
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- Put turkey in bottom of a greased 10 inch pie pan.
- Rinse broccoli in warm water and drain well; put on top of turkey.
- Sprinkle the cheese proportionately on broccoli.
- Mix lowfat milk, Large eggs, flour, salt, pepper and thyme; beat 1 minute.
- Pour over cheese.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
- Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 20 min more.
- Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle on top.
- Bake 10 to 15 min more.
- Knife inserted in center should come out clean.
- Let stand 5 min before serving.
