Goat Cheese and Asparagus Pizza
- 1 basic pizza dough
- 1 cup asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 (798 ml) canseasoned diced tomatoes
- 12 cup genoa salami, slivered
- 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
- 14 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- cornmeal
- Preheat oven to 450F and sprinkle a baking sheet with cornmeal.
- Roll out dough to desired thickness and lay on baking sheet.
- Drain the tomatoes and spread evenly over the dough.
- Toss asparagus with olive oil; spread on tomatoes.
- Top with salami.
- Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle with goat cheese (and chili flakes).
- Return pizza to oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese has melted.
