Carol'S Chicken Casserole(Creamy Chicken On Biscuits)
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 2 c. cooked chicken, cut up
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- Rinse peas under running cold water to separate.
- Heat peas, chicken soup, sour cream, milk, salt and pepper to just boiling in saucepan, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat.
- Keep warm while preparing biscuits.
- Stir Bisquick and water to soft dough.
- Beat 20 strokes.
- Smooth into a ball.
- Knead 5 times.
- Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut with 2-inch cutter.
- Pour chicken mixture into oblong dish.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Put biscuits on cheese.
- Bake about 20 minutes.
