caramel peanut butter frosting
- 1 packages Cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp caramel extract
- Let butter and cream cheese get to room temperature
- Beat cream cheese and butter together
- Beat in peanut butter
- Mix in caramel
- One cup at a time, add powdered sugar.
- ..mixing well
- Makes about 3 cups.
- Store in refrigerator in air tight container.
- Let it come to room temperature before using.
- *note* u can use a teaspoon less of the caramel if u prefer a lighter caramel flavor.
- You can also use a cup more powdered sugar if you want a sweeter flavor.
- I like to garnish top of frosted cupcakes/cake with peanut butter cups.
