Mince Apple Pie Recipe

  1. Stir together apples, mince meat, brown sugar and orange juice.
  2. Transfer to a pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Cut slits in top crust.
  4. Adjust top crust.
  5. Seal and flute edge.
  6. Brush crust with lowfat milk and sprinkle with sugar, if you like.
  7. Cover edge of pie with foil.
  8. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 25 min.
  9. Remove foil.
  10. Bake for 25 to 30 min more or possibly till pastry is golden brown and apples are tender.
  11. Serve with hard sauce, if you like.
