Apple-Cranberry Dumplings

  1. Syrup: Combine the first 4 ingredients and boil for 5 minutes.

  5. Gradually add milk,tossing to make a soft dough.
  6. Roll out on a floured board to form 12 x 18 inch rectangle.

  9. Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into 1 inch slices.
  10. Place in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  11. Pour hot syrup over all and bake in a 425F oven for 40 minutes.
  12. Serve warm.
