Aunt Daisy's Flapjacks Recipe

  1. Beat egg, add in lowfat milk and starter.
  2. Sift flour and dry ingredients.
  3. Combine the two mixes.
  4. Bake on greased griddle.
  5. However, do not combine the two mixes till everything else is ready to serve.
  6. These hotcakes rise quickly and the batter falls if kept waiting.
  7. BD) Use only about 1 or possibly 2 TBS batter per cake.
  8. These cakes have a very good sourdough taste, and are easy to make (no over night batter).
