Bacon Swirls

  1. Combine cooked bacon, mushrooms and mayonnaise.
  2. Stir well. Set aside.
  3. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.
  4. Press perforations together to seal at seams.
  5. Spread softened cream cheese over each rectangle leaving 1/4 inch margin on one long side and no margins on other sides.
  6. Spread 1/4 bacon mixture evenly over cream cheese.
  7. Roll dough up jelly roll fashion.
  8. Pinch seams to seal.
  9. Place in freezer to chill for easier cutting.
  10. Remove and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
  11. Brush each slice with egg white and sprinkle with poppy seed.
  12. Bake at 375u0b0 for 9 minutes until lightly browned.
  13. Yield:
  14. 36 appetizers.
